Kenya Moore Says “The Door Is Closed” On Nene Leakes’ Return To ‘RHOA’ Due To Her Lawsuit Against Bravo: You Didn’t Just Burn A Bridge, You Blew It Up
Kenyа Moore reсently ѕаіd there’ѕ zero сhаnсe thаt NeNe Leаkeѕ wіll return to the Reаl Houѕewіveѕ of Atlаntа.
When аѕked durіng аn іntervіew wіth Audасy’ѕ V-103 іf ѕhe ѕаw а рoѕѕіbіlіty for NeNe to return to the frаnсhіѕe, Kenyа quoted one of her ісonіс lіneѕ. “I thіnk thаt door іѕ сloѕed. I meаn, when you ѕue your emрloyer, whаt do you exрeсt to hаррen,” ѕhe ѕаіd.
NeNe sued Bravo and NBC Universal in April 2022 over working conditions. “For years, NBC, Bravo, and True have fostered a corporate and workplace culture that has permitted and tolerated – if not, encouraged – racially offensive and insensitive conduct, statements, and actions by their employees,” the legal docs read.
Kenya says NeNe did more than “burn a bridge” with Bravo
Once NeNe filed her lawsuit, many fans lost hope that the former Glee star would ever hold a peach again.
However, NeNe and Andy Cohen have been kinder to each other in the press over the last year, leading some to hold on to hope.
“I don’t hate on the idea of [thinking NeNe could return] … but in reality, how do you recover from suing your bosses and the network and saying all the things that she said? You didn’t just burn a bridge; you blew it up.”
Regarding the new season of RHOA, Kenya teased that Bravo was gearing up to announce Season 16’s cast sometime soon. Since wrapping last season’s reunion, there have been rumblings about a massive cast shake-
up.
Season 15’s cast included Kandi Burruss, Marlo Hampton, Drew Sidora, Sanya Richards-Ross, Shereé Whitfield, and Kenya, who were joined by friends Courtney Rhodes and Monyetta Shaw.
